James Leaver - Managing Director

James is a former PGA professional and has worked at public and private golf clubs in Surrey. In 2004 he formed LGM to take the role of Golf Managers for Marston Hotels where he advised on and managed all the retail operations for the hotels with golf courses. James has worked building up different areas of the business meaning his varied and in depth knowledge extends to all sectors of the golf industry.

Rod has an outstanding record in the UK and globally, successfully building thousands-strong sales teams and creating industry award-nominated training and recruitment programmes. Rod’s career also spanned 30 years in Financial Services including Managing Director of Lincoln Financial Group and Sales Director at Commercial Union. Rod has many interests and is Executive Chairman of Verridian Plc and Chairman of the Roses Theatre Trust Tewkesbury. He is married with five children and five grandchildren.

Leo is also a PGA Professional Golfer and has a BA Hons in Multimedia Design. Leo has worked at private and public courses as well as in Marbella Spain at one of the most exclusive Golf Academies on the Costa Del Sol. In 2005 Leo moved back from Spain to become the Director of Golf at South Herefordshire Golf Club. In 2006 Leo invested in LGM becoming a shareholder and Director. Now operations Director Leo oversees the day to day running of all of LGMs business activities.

Malik joined the LGM board in September 2008 and quickly established a business structure that is delivering profits. Malik has successfully created retail outlets, restaurants and an internet service company, in addition to management consulting for some of the UK’s largest PLCs. He is a keen golfer,cricketer and musician, who enjoys shooting and flying single engine aeroplanes. Malik is married and has 2 children.
